Please plan on attending our fall meeting this Tuesday evening, October 13th at 6:30 p.m. Beginning this season, we will be holding our meetings at the “new” Floridian restaurant @72 Spanish Street.
We have several speakers who will talk trash with us:
Ms. Olivia Smith, Recycling Coordinator for the City of St. Augustine, will talk about the City’s new trash and recycling efforts.
Tom Day will deliver a brief & hilarious history of St. Augustine’s collection of “night soil”,
Craig Barzso will update us on a local organization – SALSA – who are interested in a number of conservation issues in the city.
And we’ll also hear from Kathy Tucker and Michelle Moore from our very own Ketterlinus Elementary School about their volunteer program and how our neighborhood can help the kids with their technology fundraising project.
We’re also considering having a float in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade next year… what do you think?
See you there!
