Tree trimming scheduled for Flagler Model Land Neighborhood – August 22-31

Starting on Monday, August 22 and continuing through Wednesday, August 31, K&S Tree Service, a city contractor, will be trimming trees within the rights-of-way along streets located in the Flagler Model Land Neighborhood neighborhood from 8:30am to 4:30pm each day.

This trimming provides maintenance that complies with the city’s ordinance requiring an overhead clearance of 14ft above city streets and will not include trimming around utilities including electric, phone and cable providers.

Streets in the affected area are: Almeria St., Carrera St., Cordova St., Lemon St., Malaga St., Markland Pl., Mulvey St., Oviedo St., Saragossa St., Sevilla St., St Andrews Ct., Valencia St.

The community’s cooperation is greatly appreciated so that work may be completed safely and on-time by not using on-street parking on the affected streets before and during the times of trimming. On-street parking may resume where work has been completed.

No street closures are anticipated and all local traffic will have access to their properties. However, at isolated work areas, vehicular traffic will be narrowed to one lane, but personnel will be stationed to assist with traffic.
