Thanks to everyone who submitted comments for the City on street conditions in MLC. We had quite a comprehensive list! Board members met with City staff members Reuben Franklin and Todd Grant for a walkthrough. Several of the suggestions have already been addressed and the City has responded to our list with a timeline for completion – some in the near term and others incorporated into the Capital Improvements Program. The Neighborhood Association was a grant recipient from the City of St. Augustine Neighborhood Grant program. We solicited ideas from our neighbors and decided to produce a walking tour brochure for Model Land Co. The self-guided tour highlights many of the lesser-known aspects of our neighborhood as well as descriptions of the types of homes built through our history. The brochures are being made available at B&Bs and businesses in the neighborhood. You can view or download the brochure from here or drop us an email at fmlcna@gmail and we’ll make sure you get one.
